Nature of Business
PCS is the upstream company in the Singapore Essential Chemicals Complex on Jurong Island. Its main role is to supply high quality chemical intermediates such as ethylene, propylene, acetylene, butadiene, MTBE, 1-Butene and aromatics to its various pipeline-customers which extends beyond Merbau to Seraya, Sakra and Tembusu, all linked to PCS for their feedstock supply. Output not used in the Complex or locally is exported to regional markets.
PCS also supplies and co-ordinates a full range of common key utilities such as steam, air and seawater and services such as berths, security and fire-fighting to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the entire Complex.
