SPRI has been a strategic partner of Workforce Singapore (WSG) in developing the local workforce and companies in the Process Construction & Maintenance (PCM) industry since 2008. WSG is heartened to have ASPRI’s partnership and support in the promotion of our Adapt and Grow initiatives such as P-Max.
WSG and ASPRI are also collaborating on the Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) for PCM Professionals to support PCM companies with manpower in demand for recruitment and training. ASPRI’s commitment to boost the quality of the workforce in the PCM sector through robust and meaningful training is commendable. As part of the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package, the PCP is also eligible for the Enhanced Hiring Incentive.
The PCM sector is an important supporting pillar for the Energy & Chemicals (E&C) industry. WSG looks forward to a closer and deeper partnership with ASPRI to assist the PCM companies ride through the challenging economic climate arising from COVID-19.
On behalf of WSG, I would like to thank ASPRI for their dedicated efforts and commitment, and for the good work done to transform and advance the PCM sector through its close collaboration with government agencies and plant owners. I wish ASPRI and all its members continued success in the years ahead.
