018 has been a year of good recovery for the Energy and Chemicals (E&C) industry globally. In Singapore, the Association of Process Industry’s (ASPRI) efforts to help SMEs in the Process, Construction and Maintenance (PCM) sector have played an important role in helping the sector remain competitive.
In Southeast Asia, the local governments’ focus on building capacity in energy and chemicals is driving demand for engineering solutions, which presents opportunities for our PCM companies. We encourage Singapore companies to embrace such opportunities and leverage Singapore’s strong foundation in the sector to export their capabilities and services.
Enterprise Singapore will continue to partner ASPRI to support SMEs in building their capabilities, and enhance their competitiveness both locally and overseas. Through our assistance, we will continue to share our global networks, market insights and connect Singapore companies to potential partners.
I would like to commend and congratulate ASPRI on its Directory of Singapore Process & Chemical Industries 2018/2019. Over the years, the publication has been a useful reference that highlights the capabilities of the process engineering industry and the range of engineering services it offers. We look forward to our continued partnership with ASPRI, and wish ASPRI and its members’ success.
